Mr & Mrs. Dr. Umar’s Residence lies on the subtle hills of Bahria Town, Rawalpindi. The plot is an irregular triangle in shape thus giving the architects a very unusual canvas to play around with. Following the client requirements and architect ideologies, the residence is a modern contemporary design. The main functions of the residency are placed around a courtyard with a grand staircase allowing connectivity, introverted views and integration of maximum passive strategies. The living rooms are placed on the front and corners, utilizing most of the available land for outdoor views, landscaping and decks.

The building geometry consists of multiple masses put together to create a movement in the overall form of the house. Not only did the architects experiment with the form but they also used multiple building materials on the facade for variation. The use of textures like wood, stone and plaster is always appealing for the viewers. 

The house consists of 5 bedrooms, gym, living rooms and an open roof for outdoor events. It stands on a total covered area of 6440 SFT.
